Meet the Tuner: Alex Wohlwend:
Synaptic 3 Engineering's engine management calibration services are preformed by Alex Wohlwend.
Alex has 10+ years of tuning experience under his belt and has calibrated and mapped vehicles using many of today's popular engine management systems. Alex has direct experience with AEM EMS, Apexi Power FC, Autronic SM2 & SMC, Haltech E6X, E11V1, V2 & Platinum, MAP ECU & ECU2, Vipec, Open Source and ECU Flash tuning, all variants of the Greddy E-manage and other “piggyback style systems”. Alex will always err on the side of caution and make sure a tune is safe and reliable with a broad drivable torque band.
Alex is well known to the local Toyota Supra community and 350Z scene. He has tuned scores of 450 +rwhp Supras 650+ rwhp drag cars as well as his own 850+rwhp street monster. He's tuned vehicles for street, strip, and race use.. from Subarus to EVO's & DSM's; RX7's (2nd and 3rd gen) & RX8's, and many more including some high end domestics...
